There have been A LOT of twists and turns in our journey to get here, but somehow, someway, here we are. And we couldn’t be happier.

The world is a hard place to live in right now, and while there will always be darkness, we believe that there will always be light too.

That’s the whole point of WTF for us - to celebrate that light. The creativity, the community and the continual pursuit of fun. And we’ve got it all!

What The Festival recognizes that many Indigenous Nations have long standing relationships with the territories upon which we are gathering this evening. We acknowledge our presence and privilege to create, perform and share in the area known as Tkaronto, which has been care-taken by the Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Huron-Wendat. It is now home to many First Nation, Inuit and Métis communities. We acknowledge the current treaty holders, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is subject of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region.
